Engineers Rule

Hello friends!
I am popping in with a CAS design.
Engineers Rule (Altenew, SSS)                  Engineers Rule Die Set (Altenew, SSS)

you light up my world

With this card, it just shows you how versatile this stamp set and matching die are. You don't have to be an Engineer to receive or like this card. I took a very artsy approach with Altenew Metallic Shimmer Sprays (Warm Sunshine and  Caramel Toffee).

Lastly, speaking of Engineers, my son David is pondering whether he should take up the full time job with a major auto company in Michigan or continue to study for Master's degree in Engineering. Decisions, decisions...I felt that he just graduated from high school not that long ago! Where did all the time go?  Anyhow, I am glad that you stop by today!

Simon Say Stamp Copic Markers Sale ends soon.

Love the card created with a FABULOUS floral set called Perennial Beauty. This set is on my wishlist with hopes for near future to add to my collection.
Congratulations, Carolyn! Please contact me at becr8ive2@gmail.com and I can get the prize set up for you. And guess what, Carolyn, since it's your favorite, we are going to dig in some more about this  Perennial Beauty.

Perennial Beauty Stamp & Die is truly awesome as the die cuts perfectly.

for you-001

Since the hibiscus is quite large, I decided to die cut the red one and then mount it with the purple one together in one piece. Not only this saves a bit of space, it also looks more polished and less bulky. If you see the following photo, it would make a lot of sense!?

for you

For the background, I actually stamped one of the hibiscus lightly with my favorite green ink (Frayed Leaf). I then added the splatter with Altenew Shimmer Spray Forest Glade and Green Leaf.

I have yet to share my how-to with this Color-layering Stenciled card...I did not forgot. Thanks for sticking around. I will share it soon as soon as I am able to.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Create a Scene with Watercolors

Hello friends!

I am popping in with a quick post about watercoloring.
This new Some Bunny Special is absolutely darling and perfect for creating a cute scene!

Watercoloring is definitely soothing and therapeutic to do.  I love using Ganzai Tambi Watercolors
( see here) as the mixing offers so many coloring possibilities. The large set of Ganzai Tambi Watercolors  is currently out of stock, but the 24 color set  offers great value and is a great alternative.

Like everything else, watercoloring takes a lot of practice. If you do not mind spending the time practicing, you will get really good result. As for me? I am always practicing. 😁

The key is to know when to add more water and when to stay dry. As long as you know the balance, you are good to go. I apologize that my "advice/tip" seems vague, but it really is a trial and error process.

This card sure makes me feel that Spring is definitely in the air! Hope that you feel the same, too.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
